The objective

Continuity today.
Control for the long term.

Centralize technical coordination, preserve the connection between the website and admissions, and give NPTI clear ownership of its accounts and content.

Institutional ownership

Document who controls the domain, website, analytics and business accounts. Put institutional ownership and recovery access in writing.

Admissions continuity

Preserve the existing inquiry pathway to Edudigital CRM. Verify submission delivery, routing and attribution before and after launch.

Safe publication

Keep NPTI’s approved program information, catalog and consumer disclosures accessible. NPTI remains the authority for their accuracy and approval.

01 / Compare

Who owns the work?

All three options preserve NPTI’s authority over its content and digital assets. The delivery owner changes.

$70 / hour

USD. Estimated one-time total: $4,200–$5,600 (60–80 hours at $70/hour). Recurring annual amount: $5,988. Estimated first-year website services: $10,188–$11,588, excluding existing CRM charges, third-party costs and taxes. The one-time estimate assumes reusable source content, up to 90 public page/post URLs across both languages, and up to eight reusable layout families. Final inventory and hosting capacity are confirmed before a fixed scope is signed.

One-time project

Same design. Same content.
A coordinated technical transition.

The estimate covers implementation and migration into Edudigital Campus, preserving the existing English and Spanish website experience. It is based on a public-site review; access to the source files, database and licenses will establish the final fixed scope.

WorkstreamEstimated hoursAt $70/hour
Implementation: asset/access review, hosting, staging and backup setup8–10$560–$700
Recreate existing layouts and responsive behavior14–18$980–$1,260
Transfer existing English/Spanish content, media and documents18–24$1,260–$1,680
Reconnect existing inquiry paths, widgets and tracking6–8$420–$560
Validate pages, links, metadata and desktop/mobile behavior8–12$560–$840
Coordinate DNS cutover, rollback, handoff and migration-defect follow-up6–8$420–$560
Total one-time technical delivery60–80$4,200–$5,600
Payment schedule: Implementation and migration remain separate one-time scopes. Each requires a 50% deposit and 50% at its completion milestone; migration completion is go-live. Across the estimated project, the initial 50% represents $2,100–$2,800. The deposit is calculated from the final agreed scope, not from an open-ended hourly authorization.
If NPTI retains its current WordPress platform

A like-for-like hosting transfer is estimated at $1,400–$2,100 one time: implementation $420–$560 (6–8 hours), plus migration $980–$1,540 (14–22 hours), at the same $70/hour rate. This is an alternative technical scope within Option 1, not an additional charge. It preserves the existing theme and website platform and centralizes service management; it does not move the website into Edudigital Campus.

This alternative assumes complete, restorable backups, transferable theme/plugin licenses, compatible hosting and access to both language sites. Existing faults, missing source assets, paid replacement licenses, custom feature reconstruction and content changes require a separate agreed scope.

Estimate assumptions: existing approved copy and design remain unchanged; no new CRM workflows or integrations; current third-party accounts remain available. Up to 90 public page/post URLs and eight layout families are planning allowances, not a verified CMS inventory. Backend review confirms hidden pages, archives, installation count, media volume and dependencies. Any additional work is itemized for approval before it begins.

03 / Delivery

A controlled transition.

A documented sequence for Option 1: confirm the assets, prepare the environment, validate the migration and coordinate launch. Calendar dates follow access readiness and NPTI’s approval.

PHASE 01

Discover & confirm

Inventory both language sites, pages, plugins, forms, licenses and owners. Establish traffic and inquiry baselines. Confirm the fixed migration scope.

PHASE 02

Prepare & validate

Use a test environment. Review key pages, accessibility, redirects and inquiry routing. Document backup and rollback steps.

PHASE 03

Approve & launch

NPTI signs off. Apply only approved website DNS changes, preserve email records, and test pages, forms and email after cutover.

PHASE 04

Monitor & hand over

30-day launch-monitoring window for migration defects, broken links and search visibility. Deliver the ownership register and operational handoff.

Preserve the website. Centralize its management. The migration retains NPTI’s existing visual design, copy, imagery and language content. Moving to Edudigital Campus includes technical recreation of existing layouts and interactions, subject to a representative-page validation. Redesign, copy improvement, translation and new features are excluded. If platform compatibility requires retaining WordPress, we can coordinate that transition under the same service model with a revised scope.
04 / Scope

Clear boundaries.
Predictable expectations.

Support hours and service targets

Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. America/New_York, excluding agreed holidays. Automated monitoring runs outside those hours; staffed 24/7 response is not included.

SeverityFirst response targetRestoration / completion target
Critical: site unavailable or inquiry flow blockedWithin 4 business hoursWorkaround or restoration within 1 business day where within our control
Major: a key function is degradedWithin 1 business dayWorkaround or agreed correction plan within 3 business days
Routine: approved minor content changesWithin 2 business daysNormally scheduled within 5 business days, within allowance

Targets begin during service hours and depend on access, approvals and third-party availability. Response and restoration targets depend on the incident and are not guaranteed resolution times. The service agreement documents the applicable provider availability terms. Additional remediation is estimated before billable work.

Ownership, access and an orderly exit

NPTI retains ownership of its domain, institutional content, data and institution-owned digital accounts. The handover records named administrators, recovery contacts, license ownership and export locations. Credentials belong in a secure vault, not the proposal or asset inventory.

The final agreement will define transfer of paid deliverables, third-party license restrictions, export formats, transition assistance, notice periods and any additional transition fees. Institutional account access should remain with NPTI throughout the relationship.

Included continuity checks
  • English and Spanish program pages, approved catalogs and consumer-information links.
  • Existing inquiry form, CRM delivery and source attribution tested with approved test submissions.
  • Complete old-to-new URL map, redirects, metadata and sitemap review.
  • Traffic and search baselines, with post-launch checks; rankings are not guaranteed.
  • Backup restore test, launch approval and rollback criteria.
  • DNS zone backup and preservation of institutional email routing and authentication records.
Services outside the monthly scope

Copywriting, translation, graphic design, redesigns, new page templates, SEO campaigns, paid advertising, new integrations, custom features, major remediation, formal accessibility certification and legal or accreditation advice. Any new work requires an approved scope. NPTI supplies and approves institutional content.
